Privacy Policy

StrayCubic (hereinafter referred to as "our team" or "we") establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of User information, including personal information, in the music game applications "TAKUMI³" and "Asterhythm," as well as their shared accounts and related services (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Service").

Article 1 (Information Collected and Collection Methods)

We may collect the following information to provide the Service:

  1. Information Provided Directly by the User:
    We may collect email addresses, user names (player names), and inquiry details for purposes such as responding to inquiries and user authentication.
  2. Information Collected Automatically through the Use of the Service:
    • Device Information: Device model name, OS version, language settings, time zone, unique device identifiers (Device IDs, etc.)
    • Communication Information: IP addresses, access logs
    • Play Data: Account identifiers, in-game progress, score data, setting information, and the inventory and purchase history of Paid Content
  3. Information Collected via External Service Integration:
    If a User utilizes account linking with external platforms (Apple, Google, etc.), we may obtain identifiers provided by such platforms. Please note that detailed payment information such as credit card details is managed directly by each platform, and our team does not collect or retain this data.

Article 2 (Purpose of Use)

We will use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To manage shared accounts (StrayCubic Account) between "TAKUMI³" and "Asterhythm", authenticate Users, and provide cross-app game data save and transfer functions.
  • To process purchases of paid items within the Service, and to manage inventory and balances.
  • To implement measures in accordance with legal requirements, such as restricting spending limits based on the User's age.
  • To provide guidance on various events, campaigns, update information, and deliver important notices.
  • To provide customer support, including investigating, verifying, and responding to inquiries from Users.
  • To analyze Service usage, traffic, and error occurrence to improve quality and develop new services.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to acts violating the Terms of Service, cheating, unauthorized access, and similar activities.

Article 3 (Information Collection Modules and Analytics Tools)

The Service may utilize information collection modules provided by the following external businesses for the purpose of analyzing app usage and detecting errors. The information collected by these tools is managed in accordance with the privacy policies of the respective businesses.
(Examples: Unity Analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, Crashlytics, etc.)

Article 4 (Provision to Third Parties)

We will not provide acquired User personal information to third parties, except in the following cases:

  1. When the User has given their consent.
  2. When required by law, or when receiving a legally-based inquiry from public institutions such as courts or police.
  3. When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the User's consent.
  4. When it is necessary to share information with payment processing companies, etc., to investigate and respond to Terms of Service violations or fraudulent activities.
  5. When entrusting all or part of the handling of information to an external business to the extent necessary for the execution of our business (in this case, we will properly manage and supervise the entrusted party).

Article 5 (Security Measures)

We will take necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of User information, and to securely manage all acquired data. We use encrypted communication for data transmission and strictly manage access rights to stored data.

Article 6 (User Rights)

Users can verify or modify their information, such as their player name, at any time using functions provided within the Service. In addition, Users may request the disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of their personal information. If you wish to make such a request, please contact the inquiry desk specified in Article 8. However, we may not be able to fulfill your request in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws.

Article 7 (Changes to this Policy)

We may change the contents of this Policy without prior notice due to changes in laws or updates to the Service. The amended Privacy Policy will take effect when it is posted within the App or on this website. If you use the Service after changes have been made, you are deemed to have agreed to the amended Policy.
